On Sunday 15th April a number of Kyushinkai's MMA team went down to Cheltenham to compete in the Trojan Freefighters Inter-Club. It was a great day and all the team did brilliantly, the Trojan gym is one of the very best in the country and have fighters on the UFC card. To get any sort of result against their fighters is hard earned and the guy's should all be very proud.

Junior Fight Night 30/03/12

Wow! What a great night. Well done to everyone who fought. There were some fantastic techniques and some great control. We had a line-up of 16 fights with only one competitor having to fight twice. The bouts consisted of two 2 minute rounds with a one minute break.

Kata of the month 29/03/12

 Firstly, we’d like to say a very big well done to all who attended. It is very difficult to stand up in front of your instructors and peers, alone, to show what you’ve learnt. This was a great opportunity for everyone to show off their kata and get tips for improvement. The judges were looking for certain elements including shape, stance, power and some other ‘magic’ ingredients.
